Studio Stab
Draw. Compete. Promote.
Ladies and gentleman! Boys and girls! Artists and fans from all over the globe! Welcome to the first ever Ink & Stab seasonal challenge!
Season One - Week 1
Studio Stab is the imaginary arena that you step into every time you begin a trial or challenge. In order to compete, you must first be a member of the studio. Studio Stab is home to The Grand Archives which holds countless scrolls and records such as membership records of every ranked draftsman.
We live in a distracting world. Everything around us is competing for our attention and our attention spans have become incredibly small. Social media, short YouTube videos, and video games are great at giving us small bursts of dopamine in rapid succession. Instead of attempting to rewire our brains, we can instead lean into this impatience. Ink & Stab's ranked & reward system takes a page from competitive gaming. The system lays out hundreds of goals and milestones for you to chase after and accomplish. This makes it less likely for you to get discouraged since your progress is measured and displayed right in front of you. Our brain loves all these little goals, it makes it feel accomplished.
Every ranked member of The Grand Atelier starts as an Initiate. To earn your apprentice promotion you must complete all 4 of the foundational trials.
